Egyptian Public Authority for Survey

 Responsibilities

-Establishing network triangles and data of land leveling for Egypt;

-Production of topographic maps for Egypt;

-Production of detailed maps for cities and villages;

-Execution of dispossession lows;

- Making a survey of the cultivated areas and its regular crops on an annual basis;

-Measuring and calculating local gravity;

-Producing astronomical calendar.

Structure

The Egyptian Public Authority for Survey consists of the following central departments:

- The Central Department of Survey Affairs;

- The Central Department of Maps Affairs;

- The Central Department of Cadastre;

- The Central Department of Technical Assistance;

- The Central Department of Financial and Administrative Affairs;

- The Central Department of Legal Affairs.
