  • Within the framework of supporting and strengthening fraternal ties between Egypt and the Republic of Uganda to enhance cooperation between the two countries in the field of water resources.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • Referring to the agreement signed between the two countries on March 22, 1999, concerning the Egyptian grant to the Republic of Uganda for the implementation of the aquatic weeds control project in the Great Lakes (Victoria – Kyoga -Albert – Kagera River Mouth) in the amount of 13.9 million US dollars through one of the Egyptian companies specialized in this field.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n
  • In continuation of this cooperation between the two countries, and based on the request of the Ugandan side, consideration was given to implementing a sixth phase of the Egyptian-Ugandan project for controlling aquatic weeds in the Great Lakes in Uganda. The fifth annex to the agreement was signed on November 1, 2023, to implement Phase Six at a value of 3 million US dollars. The aquatic weeds control operation was assigned to Wadi El Nil Contracting and Real Estate Investments Company on March 24, 2024, at a value of 2.3 million US dollars.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
