World Water Day 2026
As part of the celebration of World Water Day 2026, the Ministry organized an event in cooperation with the European Union Delegation to Egypt, highlighting the importance of this occasion in showcasing national efforts in water resources management and advancing the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
The event featured the participation of THE RESWATER project, during which an introductory presentation was delivered outlining the project’s objectives, key activities, and its role in supporting the Ministry’s strategic directions, as well as strengthening cooperation frameworks with international partners in the water sector.
During the event, it was also announced that a dedicated workshop for the ResWater project will be held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at the Royal Maxim Palace Kempinski Hotel in Cairo. The workshop aims to present the project’s activities and its implementation plan for the upcoming phase

في إطار الاحتفال باليوم العالمي للمياه لعام 2026، نظّمت الوزارة احتفالية بالتعاون مع بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي في مصر، تأكيدًا على أهمية هذه المناسبة في تسليط الضوء على الجهود الوطنية المبذولة في مجال إدارة الموارد المائية، ودعم مساعي تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة.
وشهدت الاحتفالية مشاركة مشروع RESWATER، حيث تم تقديم عرض تعريفي استعرض أهداف المشروع وأنشطته المختلفة، إلى جانب دوره في دعم توجهات الوزارة وتعزيز أطر التعاون مع الشركاء الدوليين في قطاع المياه.
