Meeting on the outcomes of the national workshop for the RESWATER project
under the Interreg NEXT MED program to promote the use of non-conventional water resources in Egypt
As part of following up on the outcomes of the national workshop for the RESWATER project , a coordination meeting was held for the project team to discuss the next phase of implementation
In light of the outcomes of the RESWATER national workshop—funded under the Interreg NEXT MED program—which was held on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, a coordination meeting was convened for the project team. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Reham Elkorashey, Project Manager, and Eng. samaa El-baroudy, General Director of Needs Planning and Infrastructure Preparation, along with other project team members
This meeting comes within the framework of strengthening internal coordination and following up on the workshop outcomes. Key outputs and results agreed upon with stakeholders were reviewed, and mechanisms for building on them in the upcoming phase were discussed
The meeting also addressed the proposed implementation steps, setting priorities, and assigning roles and responsibilities among team members, ensuring integration across the different project components and maximizing the benefits of its outcomes
Additionally, discussions covered ways to activate the workshop outputs, particularly in relation to developing proposed solutions for non-conventional water resources and incorporating them into implementation tracks, alongside outlining a preliminary action plan for the coming period
The meeting emphasized the importance of maintaining effective coordination among team members and translating workshop outcomes into clear implementation steps, contributing to the achievement of the project’s objectives and supporting the country’s direction toward sustainable and resilient water resource management

لتعزيز استخدام الموارد المائية غير التقليدية في مصر
في إطار متابعة مخرجات ورشة العمل الوطنية لمشروع RESWATER.. عقد اجتماع تنسيقي لفريق عمل المشروع لبحث خطوات التنفيذ للمرحلة المقبلة
و في ضوء مخرجات ورشة العمل الوطنية لمشروع RESWATER، والممول ضمن برنامج Interreg NEXT MED، والتي عُقدت يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 7 أبريل 2026، تم عقد اجتماع تنسيقي لفريق عمل المشروع، بمشاركة السيدة الأستاذة الدكتورة/ ريهام القرشي – مديرة المشروع، والسيدة المهندسة/ سماء البارودي مدير عام تخطيط الاحتياجات وتهيئة البنية التحتية، إلى جانب أعضاء فريق عمل المشروع .
ويأتي هذا الاجتماع في إطار تعزيز التنسيق الداخلي ومتابعة ما تم التوصل إليه خلال ورشة العمل، حيث تم استعراض أبرز المخرجات والنتائج التي تم التوافق عليها مع أصحاب المصلحة، ومناقشة آليات البناء عليها خلال المرحلة المقبلة.
كما تناول الاجتماع مناقشة الخطوات التنفيذية المقترحة، وتحديد الأولويات، وتوزيع الأدوار والمسؤوليات بين أعضاء فريق العمل، بما يضمن تحقيق التكامل بين مختلف محاور المشروع، وتعظيم الاستفادة من نتائجه.
وشهد الاجتماع كذلك بحث سبل تفعيل مخرجات الورشة، خاصة فيما يتعلق بتطوير الحلول المقترحة للموارد المائية غير التقليدية، وإدراجها ضمن مسارات العمل التنفيذية، إلى جانب وضع تصور مبدئي لخطة العمل خلال الفترة القادمة.
وأكد الاجتماع أهمية الاستمرار في التنسيق الفعال بين أعضاء فريق العمل، والعمل على ترجمة مخرجات ورشة العمل إلى خطوات تنفيذية واضحة، بما يسهم في تحقيق أهداف المشروع، ودعم توجهات الدولة نحو الإدارة المستدامة والمرنة للموارد المائية.
